Thaumcraft adds magic to the world. Minecraft is cool on its own, but we wanted to add both magic and deep content to the world which would keep its players highly engaged. This mod is extremely deep and diverse. This is one of a few primary content mods
Wands, their many variations, accessories, and much more.
All things alchemical from magical centrifuges to transmutation and even the power of light.
Create magical things of value. Tools, weapons, armor, and machines.
Infuse the things you create with powerful magic. Build golems to do your bidding.
Bibliocraft adds craftable specialized containers and more to the world. These can range from a stand for your armor to bookcases that actually display individual books you put on them. We added this mod because it gives players a high degree of customization to the things they build and everything in this mod just seems like common sense.
Create maps you can refer to and put up on the wall.
Make desks, chairs, shelving, and even cookie jars.
Replicate enchantment books and make recipes.
signs & lables
Get organized! Add better signs and labels to your stuff.
Towny adds individual player control to the world. It allows you to claim land that’s yours and no one else’s. It adds a dynamic economy system that’s account bound, which enables you to claim more land, buy things from a central trade hub, and sell goods you make. It also enhances the PVP experience. It gives you complete control over what happens in your town.
TOWNS & NATIONS
Claim land and create a town. Band together with other towns to become a nation.
No one can attack you while you’re in your own town.
A fully functional economy that let’s you buy and sell things you gather or make.
Battle your enemies
Go to war with other towns or nations.
Perform rituals, brew special potions, collect fumes, and learn to control the magic that is present in the world. Witchery is based on the natural items and ingredients already present in the world being used to perform magic. There are no flashy spells, wands, enchanted armors, or anything else similar to that style of magic in this mod.
Immersive Engineering brings a charming steampunk-like deep engineering mod to Andor. For those who are less interested in the magic arts, this is for you. Build machines, employ power, bend the mechanical to your will.
Thaumic Tinkerer (Thaumcraft Addon)
Adds a lot more utility and unique items in a brand new Thaumcraft tab as an add-on to the epic magic mod.
Use breeding mechanics similar to those used for Forestry‘s bees and trees. By breeding crops, Denizens can develop stronger more productive seeds. Additionally, crossbreeding two separate species of plants may result in a spontaneous mutation that produces a third species. Aircraft also adds components to create a simple irrigation system that will eliminate the need for water source blocks and increase the speed of crop growth.
McMMO allows for an RPG-like experience to exist in the world of Minecraft complete with skill leveling, special abilities, rare loot, brand new mechanics and a more in-depth PvP! You can check more out about this mod here.
Animals+ adds life to the world. Vanilla is fun but can get a bit repetitive with just cows, sheep, pigs, cows, sheep, pigs. Animals+ adds everything from snakes and crocodiles to camels into the world. We think this is more realistic.
Journey Map adds real-time navigation and cartography to the world. It maps the world as you explore it. It gives you a minimap. It lets you set custom waypoints. It’s full of awesome features. It is not a server-side map, so if you play on our world from multiple computers, it won’t update them both for you.
Baubles add things like trinkets and rings to the world. It allows you to wear extra things that make you more powerful. This is pretty self-explanatory.
The Twilight Forest
The Twilight Forest adds a completely alternate dimension to the world. There is only one portal, you can not make one. This is intentional. Once you dive through the portal you will find yourself in an immense, endless forest, with trees so tall and wide that most of the sky overhead is blocked out. There are impenetrable castles. There are Yetis. We added this as a secondary content mod, and you will just have to experience it for yourself if you can find the portal.
Chisel 2 adds a lot of block diversity and customization to the world. If you love building diverse structures with unique design elements, the limited number of blocks in vanilla can be kind of underwhelming. We added this mod to empower players on the world to get really creative.
Chocolate Quest adds adventure to the world. It has dungeons, new mobs, and a bunch of unique items. We added this to the world to give players a sense of excitement, direction, and content to explore and conquer. We prefer to choose when to engage in epic battles vs. having monsters just show up in our homes uninvited.
CraftGuide gives you quick access to a list of every crafting recipe in the game.
Dr. Cyano’s Lootable Bodies
Dr. Cyano’s Lootable Bodies adds dead bodies that can be looted to the world. This mod protects your items from despawning when you die by storing them on a dead body that you (or someone else) can later loot to get whatever you had on you when you died. Your dead body is unharmed by fire, explosions, and falling. Simply right-click on a dead body to access its inventory. Use a shovel to dispose of your body after you looted it (3 hits with a shovel will remove the body). We added this because we think this makes the world seem a bit more realistic.
Deadly World makes the world a little more dangerous. Monsters don’t spawn in darkness. That’s a big deal, in a positive way. We think that if you build a wall, it should actually work. In our world it does. The trade off here is that when you dig into the world or go out of the safety of those walls, it’s more dangerous. Hive of silverfish anyone?
Pam’s Harvest Craft
Pam’s HarvestCraft adds a lot of diversity to what you can grow and cook to the world. It ranges from 60+ new crops including cotton for string to 36 fruit bearing trees, to cooking tools, to even tofu for you vegetarians out there. We added this mod because we think it makes the world a bit more realistic and rich.
Roguelike Dungeons adds more adventure to the world. This mod is inspired by super-hostile maps and roguelike dungeon crawlers. It generates large underground dungeon structures which have procedurally generated layout and loot. We think these dungeons are compelling content.
Trade Booth Mod adds a way for players to trade with each other to the world. It facilitates 24 hours offline/away player trading. This gives you a way to make money from the things you manufacture. We added this to the world because we want to facilitate a player generated economy. There is, however, a normal currency based economy. Tradebooth is strictly trading one thing for another and doesn’t interface with currency based economy.
Balkon’s Weapon Mod
Balkon’s Weapon Mod adds more weapons to the world. Arrows and swords are nice, but they get a little boring. This mod adds everything from shootable muskets to boomerangs. We added this mod to bring more diversity to your arsenal options. We think it fits within the fantasy theme.
Simple mod that let’s you add strings of lights to your creations. You can choose the colors and patterns.
Ye Gamol Chattels
No dragons, don’t worry. Wait, unless you make a statue of one! This is a purely cosmetic mod that adds a bunch of wonderful items like gongs, working wardrobes and epic item stands. MOST importantly, it adds microblocks to the world. Yep. You can now make those amazing little patterns and creations.
